Emergency Department Development and Training in Pohnpei State Hospital
Over the past 3 weeks, Dr. Gabriel David, emergency medicine physician working in Guam, and Deborah Yoder, RN critical care specialist from California, have volunteered their time to help the Pohnpei State Hospital staff in the development of the Emergency Department. They focused on training the local nurses and physicians and helped them with a development plan to improve the island's emergency services. Many thanks to this team of healthcare professionals (pictured) that collaborated together during the past weeks.
